Wheeler Engineering Anti Cant Indicator, 1

The Wheeler 1" Anti-Cant Indicator is a swing-out scope leveling tool that attaches to your 1" scope tube and helps you maintain proper vertical alignement when shooting. Keeping your gun and scope vertically aligned avoids cant errors which can cause errors in point of impact.

Keeping your scope perfectly aligned while shooting is critical to long-range accuracy. The Wheeler 1" Anti-Cant Indicator works great for eliminating canting errors. A small cant error can cause a significant error in point of impact. An Anti-Cant Indicator is especially necessary with modern "Drop-compensating" scopes.

Cant error occurs when you hold your gun tipped slight left or right. As can clearly be seen in the diagram above, if your gun isn't held perfectly veritcal while shooting, dialing up the turrets or using hold-over marks will throw your shot off. This error can easily be enough to cause misses. The Wheeler Engineering Anti-Cant Indicator attaches to your scope and swings out (as shown in the image below) to help ensure your rifle is always held near perfectly vertical, eliminating any chance for "Cant Error" to cause a miss.
